) family matures mid-season with a rich, sweet flavored fruit that many favor for snacking and juicing.  Pineapple Orange fruit is medium to large size, round to oval, orange color, pebbly peel. 

Its name originates from the delicate pineapple fragrance the blossoms emit, but the fruit itself doesn’t taste like pineapple.  The Pineapple Orange is an excellent pollinator and ornamental addition, blossoming under dense canopies and creating a mid-season fruit which markets stock as a principal variety. The fruit bears an orange, medium-thick rind with a pebbled, aromatic exterior.
