Pepino Dulce (Solanum Muricatum)

It bears fruit within its first season and can be grown as an annual in colder climates. Growing like a tomato, Pepino can benefit from the the support of a trellis or frame but doesn’t cling.  Pepino Dulce bears a unique and delicious fruit, said to be a combination of a honeydew melon and a cantaloupe.
