. Native to South and Central America, the Candle Bush is known and grown ornamentally for their yellow, showy, erect raceme “candlestick” flowers.

A great plant for adding a golden glow to a garden, the summer-blooming Candle Bush makes for both a gorgeous sight and a medicinal delight. These plants are great for container growing and can easily be started from seed. They grow vigorously in full sun and fill space quickly, so make sure to give them some room to grow!  Our Candle Bush Plant is grown from seed and is capable of harvesting within one growing season. Grows easy outdoors 9-11 with frost protection.

The Candle Bush carries adenine, anthraquinones, chyrsopanic acid, flavonoids, kaempferol 3-O-gentiobioside(K3G), narengenin, and saponins. These components bear anti-inflammatory,  anti fungal, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and analgesic properties.
